Last night very aptly on Friday the 13th, I witnessed Glenn Danzig's feature length directorial debut, the batshit crazy horror anthology Verotika at the Philadelphia Film Center. The film was followed by a post film Q&A with its writer/director, producer James Cullen Bressack, actress Ashley Wisdom and Josh Goldbloom who was responsible for the world premiere of the film at the Cinepocalypse Genre Film Festival.

This was the "last" theatrical screening of the film and Danzig disclosed to the packed house that his next project, that was already in the can is a vampire spaghetti western starring Julian Sands.

I personally think this film will have a very long life as an audience experience and this is far from the last time we will get to experience it in a darkened room filled with like minded individuals.

Seriously if its anything like that madness I witnessed last night I can't wait.
